Acne & Cosmetic Acupuncture

Your skin isn’t betraying you. It’s trying to tell you something.

Here’s something that no one ever told me when I was right in the middle of my own years with acne: Your skin isn’t betraying you. It’s trying to tell you something.

What Your Skin Is Actually Asking For?

Acne doesn’t just appear out of thin air. It may appear because of an imbalance happening inside the body, most likely due to these three things – the gut, hormones, digestion, and nervous system stress.

Acne & Cosmetic Acupuncture begins with this question “What is my body asking of me in this moment?”

What Happens When You Arrive

You walk in carrying whatever you’re carrying. A bad week. A bad decade with your skin. Maybe just a quiet hope that something has to shift.

During your treatment:

  • Around your face, needles are placed where you hold tension; your jaw, your cheeks, between your brows and surrounding acne lesions – needles are never places around sore and inflamed breakouts.
  • Elsewhere, points are chosen by what your skin has been telling us
  • Your inner leg if hormones are part of the story
  • Your forearm if digestion needs support
  • Your belly if your nervous system has been running on empty

More Than Needles

You leave with more than a treatment. You leave with a different way of seeing your skin.

Small things that fit your actual life:

  • A rhythm to eating that finally makes sense for your body
  • Educational advice on food, lifestyle changes, and supplement recommendations
  • A herbal formula made for you, working quietly between sessions

None of it is about fixing you. You’re not broken. It’s about clearing the path so your body can do what it already knows.

How Progress Really Looks

This work doesn’t promise immediate perfection. The aim is to understand your body and work with it, not against it.

What we pay attention to over time:

  • Are your flare-ups coming less often?
  • When they come, are they less severe, less painful?
  • Is the overall pattern of your skin improving: the tone, the texture, the calm between storms?

When you shift your focus to these questions, something shifts in you. Not only could your skin begin to change over time, but the emotional weight of each flare-up could also lessen. A breakout becomes just a breakout; not a ruined day, not a reflection of your worth, not a reason to hide.

This longer view is the one that could help you. I’ve seen it in my patients. I’ve lived it in myself.

You don’t have to love your skin every day. But you also don’t have to spend another year at war with it.

I won’t ask you to be perfect. I just ask you to show up, lie down, and let something shift.
